Whole Anchovies in Olive Oil

These anchovies, prepared like sardines, come from responsible coastal fishing in the North-East Atlantic. They are prepared by hand in Douarnenez in Brittany. Anchovies and sardines are two related species that can be confused. Anchovies are more elongated than sardines with a dark, almost black back, and the demarcation of this black area is very clear.
