Cashew Curry in Bulk Organic

What is in the curry mix?

The bag brings together 97.8% organic cashew nuts, Guérande salt, a curry blend at 0.8% made of coriander, turmeric, fenugreek, ginger, onion, cumin, garlic and salt, plus acacia gum as a glazing agent. No sugar goes into this Kazidomi Vrac recipe.

Are they hot?

No. This curry is fragrant rather than fiery: turmeric and coriander dominate, ginger brings a warm edge, fenugreek a faintly bitter note. At 0.8% of the bag, the Kazidomi Vrac seasoning stays in the background and lets the taste of the roasted cashew through.

Curry cashews or roasted salted cashews?

The curry adds a complete aromatic layer, with eight spices and aromatics, which scents the mouth after the crunch. The Kazidomi Vrac roasted salted stop at the nut and the Guérande salt. The first version suits an Indian dish or a dahl, the second stays neutral for any occasion.

How are they used in cooking?

With drinks in a bowl, but also crushed over basmati rice, a lentil dahl, a vegetable curry or a carrot salad. The Kazidomi Vrac cashews then bring the crunch and part of the seasoning. Add them off the heat, as the spice coating does not take cooking.

Where are they prepared and how are they kept?

The nuts come from Vietnam and are seasoned in France, which gives Kazidomi Vrac traceability over both stages. Keep the 250 g bag somewhere cool and dry, closed firmly: damp dulls the curry and takes the bite out of the nut.
