Balanced Fairtrade Ground Coffee Peru Organic

How do I brew it in a filter machine?

Dampen the paper filter, count about 7 g of ground coffee per cup, then pour slowly with soft water, simmering rather than boiling. This Kazidomi coffee being a mild arabica, a slow extraction brings out its touch of acidity without turning the cup bitter.

Balanced or full-bodied ground coffee: which to take?

This one is a 100% arabica from Peru: a mild, fine aroma, light bitterness, discreet acidity. The Kazidomi full-bodied version holds 40% robusta from Tanzania and gives a more powerful, more bitter cup. Both exist as a 250 g ground pack.

Where are the beans from and where are they roasted?

The beans are grown in Peru, organically and under fair trade terms, then roasted in France by a family firm in Alsace. Kazidomi sells them ready ground, in a 250 g pack. The Fairtrade certification concerns the trading terms granted to coffee growers.

Which machines can I use it in?

Any machine that takes ground coffee: a filter machine, a moka pot, a cafetière, or an espresso portafilter. The Kazidomi grind is ready to use, with no grinder needed. Depending on the method, adjust the contact time with the water rather than the dose per cup.

How do I store the ground coffee?

In an airtight container, away from heat, damp and light. Once the Kazidomi pack is open, the aromas of this light arabica escape faster than those of a full-bodied blend: better to get through the 250 g within the following few weeks.
