What is the 700 g jar for?

It is the family jar of Chokodomi, more than twice the contents of the small one, for a recipe that does not change between the two. Kazidomi intends it for households serving it every week at breakfast or teatime. An open jar stays at room temperature, closed carefully after each use.

Chokodomi or peanut butter: which to spread?

Chokodomi is a chocolate and hazelnut spread, sweetened with brown cane sugar and smooth enough to spread straight from the jar. Kazidomi peanut butter is 100% roasted peanuts, savoury rather than sweet and far thicker. One goes on a breakfast slice, the other into a sauce or a marinade as readily as onto bread.

Can I bake with it?

Yes. It melts over a bain-marie and folds into a pancake batter, a cookie filling, a brioche roll or a cake glaze. Cold, the Kazidomi paste also spreads with a spoon between two layers of sponge, or goes simply onto slices of toast at the end of the afternoon.

Does it contain gluten?

The ingredient list holds no cereal at all: brown cane sugar, hazelnut paste, sunflower oil, cocoa powder, cocoa butter, sunflower lecithin, vanilla extract and salt. Kazidomi mentions only possible traces of tree nuts on the jar, which matters if you react to hazelnuts or to almonds.

Where is it made?

In France, from organic ingredients: hazelnut paste, cocoa powder, cocoa butter and brown cane sugar. Kazidomi gives the same place of manufacture on the 700 g jar and on the 300 g one, since the recipe does not change at all from one size to the other.
